Moweaqua, IL – Moweaqua residents gathered Sunday afternoon for a community clean-up at North Park. Families and volunteers worked together to pick up trash, weed-eat, rake and bag leaves, and clear debris. A total of eighteen participants helped refresh the park grounds.
The effort also marked the completion of another Moweaqua in Motion Friends of the Park project. The muddy entryway into the dog park was improved with new paving stones, made possible by community donations of pavers and sand.
Organizers expressed appreciation for everyone who contributed their time and materials to keep Moweaqua’s parks clean and welcoming.
